I went around a large dept store, explained that my skin can be sensitive and that I didn't want to risk spending out on stuff before I tried it. Result? Loads of sample sizes, kept me going during a particularly skintight period. (make sure you tell them it can take a week or so to show if you're going to react badly to a product):D

ALSO l'Occitane, go in and have a skin consultation, they'll do I lovely cleanse, tone and moisturise for you and give you some nice freebies. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3878991. I got about £20 worth:D

FINALLY Origins is doing its trade in day in 2 weeks. Link to original post. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3871365

Thanks everyone, it wasn't so much skincare I was after as much as knowing if there were decent offers or sales on in the skincare department, eg Boots offering the 3-4-2 or cosmetics counters offering 20% off or similar.

Where it comes to choosing different skincare, its something I need to try myself because my skin is so fickle and ever changing. One example is Avene where as up until last month it was fine and I had been using sample sizes of their cleanser and moisturisers, now all of a sudden I get a burning sensation when I use their moisturiser! Very odd!

I think it was cheap smells who had a huge discount on decleor products recently. I stocked up the last time and love their facial oils. If you have any salons or spas near you that use decleor you can go and see the packaging, test out the products and then buy cheaply online.

Thanks, had earmared the Origins offer though know last time someone spilled the beans to this website all the freebies went within minutes (I was told 4 minutes by a very large well known store in London). Some of the products by Origins also sadly makes my skin burn, eye creams are fine, moisturisers are a bit more tricky, think its the citrus in them?

Will take a look at L'Occitane, does anyone know if they have any offers coming up?
