    You can download some templates from mailchimp and have a play around. The HTML newsletter is not the same as a website!

    If you want to do newsletters forget about HTML, or Word for that matter. Best to use a desktop publisher package, designed just for those things, which you can distribute as a PDF. I have had great success with Scribus (https://www.scribus.net) which is open source/free. DTP gives you far more control over page formatting etc than you ever can get with HTML.
