Don't you think you might be over-reacting slightly to what is probably just a timing issue. The two agents were probably instructed at the same time, but one was quicker to get the details up than the other. If your offer is accepted, stipulate that the property is marked as sold by both agents.0

I don't think you could say the seller is being greedy in this circumstance. I agree with CharlieBubble, this must just be a timing thing. If the seller had found out you wanted to buy, and at their asking price (and in this housing market!), I would imagine they are ready to bite your hand off, not go through the faff of marketing with another agent!
We literally just put our flat on the market with a 2nd agent purely because the 1st agent hasn't been generating much interest, and we thought it would help to try with 2.0 -

That's weird, the seller should have told the other agent that they were advertising with a different one. Surely the 2nd agent would have noticed the flat was already on the market with a different agent?0

Congratulations on getting your offer accepted. I think you may be worrying a bit too much. I agree it's odd the seller seems to have employed 2 agents without letting either know they have, but I'm sure that now they both know, things might proceed as normal.0

I am sure they both knew all along you probably just didn't talk to the person that new!
I have had a flat for sale with two agents and have had house to let with several agents. I agreed that once an offer was accepted that the second agent was not allowed to show the flat, they work this way all the time you will not be their first client buying through another agent.
Just push your purchase along and you will be fine. I also feel it is wrong to call the seller greedy, all he is doing is his best to sell his property in fact it will cost him more to have a dual agency so desperate maybe, greedy lass so. Not sure I would have gone in close to asking, he clearly needs to sell!0 -

OP, you have done all you can at present. Agent that you have offered through are happy as they have the deal.
Agent 2 probably feel agrieved as they have lost out to a competitor and wont earn any money. If vendor will not allow Agent 2 to do viewings then you should be fine, just depends how honest and trustworthy vendor is.0 -
