Clix? I get nothing from them, ever!!! In the... 3? Years I've had 2 things.

Edit: errr... it's changed to clicks and I'd given up and hadn't even noticed. Oops.

I was the same when it was Clix (with them for years), then since the changeover I have had a steady flow of test products.

Yes, you have to leave it 6 months after testing and then give them a buzz and they let you know what the product is.

Thanks for this, I came on to ask the question about how to find out what we have tested.

I've recently had the foaming face wash and about a week ago I had the pressed powder

waited approx 4 years for an invite, finally get in and......nothing. I thought this was some exclusive type of panel where you would be able to test things regularly but it seems like once in a blue moon!

It used to be great, up until this year there wasnt a week that went by without getting little parcels from Boots but as the panel has grown and because they only have 65 sample to send out of each product it has become more selective.

My husband and I usually get something once every 6 to 8 weeks now as opposed to getting 3 or 4 things a week but its still a freebie ;)

Totally agree with Sarah...you used to get a great selection of things to test but that really doesnt seem to be the case now.

I think ive been reasonably lucky to have ahd 5 things so far this year but thats nothing compared to previous years.

I also seem to be completing a lot more email screeners for products or studies that will send you boots vouchers in return...but I havent been subsequently offered either the product or the study.

Last week I was offered an email study for over several surveys this week for an incentive payment of £25...not heard anything since i completed the initial email...did anyone else get the email and was accepted for the study?

I only ever get skin care stuff from boots (infrequently). I would like some make up for a change.

I received a mini-sized shimmer body lotion to trial at the weekend. :D It's been sometime since I last had a trial from Boots, although OH receives them on a more regular basis.

Like a number of people here, I have been on the Boots volunteer panel for a number of years and have noticed a sharp decline in the trials I receive in the post this year. I telephoned Boots recently and spoke to a very helpful lady who said they now have approx 65,000  volunteers, including those they have recently taken on who have been on the waiting list for up to 3+ years.

For each trial they send out 100 products, so the chances of receiving anything in the post now is very limited as they are trying to make it fairer for everyone. She did say the best we can hope is perhaps 1-2 every six months, so anyone who receives more than this are doing very well.

    HTH. :D

Goodness, I count myself fortunate then because I've still received a few this year, even 3 in a month. Admittedly much less than before when I'd have 5 or 6 trials running at once and arriving all the time.

It is confusing tho about the number of samples per trial as I've noticed that my SIL and I frequently get the same products to trial even tho she joined 2 years after me and is younger.
