Yes same here even thought I got the email invitation just seconds before!0 -

Same here regarding the email invitation being full seconds after receiving. Very similar to Clicks Research in that way. Very strange.

I'm thinking now the Boots trials are no more. It seems lucky if you find a trial let alone get hooked up to one. I used to find at least one a month and many times much more then this- several a week at one point. Now I've not been so lucky for ages and the trial I did get wasn't even one I signed up for.
So sad, I've had some of the best mascaras I've ever used thanks to the Boots trial, and one I'm still trying to find in stores (no luck)
Just wondering if anyone can help me locate a mascara I think I trialled a few months ago but I can't be sure on the date. The shape of the tube is similar to Hypnose by Lancome but has curves decorating down the outside (sort of following the shape of the tube) which Lancome's Hypnose doesn't have.
The brush itself is one of those plastic/latex types and is pink (the mascara is black on top so you don't see the pink unless you wipe the wand before use- not that you really need to).
It's good at curling my lashes slightly. Nothing that would take the place of a lash curler but does do a better job then most.
The brush itself is also curved.
If anyone has any idea I'd be really grateful as I can't find anything similar anywhere!0 -

If it was over 6 months ago that you trialled it then just call the evaluation suite and they will tell you exactly what Boots mascara it is.

Another one here who clicked on the email to find out it had been filled up! I've almost given up with Boots
Not really going by their own statement though are they:
We know you can find registering for studies quite frustrating, especially when there are only a few studies happening. To make things a bit easier we now advertise all of our Home User Trials on FRIDAYS. This means that if you check your account once over the weekend you should increase your chance of receiving products. Volunteers will be selected at random the following week to receive the products.
I know the email ones are different for the ones you log into your account and register for, but you'd think they'd treat them all the same!0 -
Yes I just had two emails for the finger nail foils & eye and lip pencils and got the following message on both!Thank you for your interest but we have now got all the volunteers we need for this study.
Regards The Boots Evaluaiton Suite
Re the emails for the test products that we got only to find the studies were full. I contacted Boots and have just got this back:
Hi ***
Thank you for your email.
The link no longer is accessible as it has closed due to an outstanding response of volunteers wanting to try this product. This was an experimental way of finding out how many volunteers would be interested in the particular product.
I apologise that you could not access the link, but as you can hopefully understand, we are trying to advertise these products the fairest way possible.
We will be having more products, please login to your account on www.bootsvolunteers.com.
Kind regards

I contacted them and got that exact same email back this morning, some how I don't see how this is a fairer way,if you aren't by the computer for a lot of the day you are going to miss out.0 -

Thing is I was by the PC when these arrived and yet still they were full!!! So either they only had a few slots or some are sent emails way before others.
While I appreciate that they want new testers from time to time, it seems after the last large influx a few months ago there are less and less test products and more and more testers.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0
