How much are you looking to spend, stamp duty is exempt upto £125k. SDLT relief scheme is now finished though if you are looking to spend m ore.

If you owned a house you would not be a first time buyer. It doesn't matter though as the stamp duty holiday for FTBs has now ended. You will have to pay stamp duty on any house purchase ABOVE £125,000. Below that is exempt (FTB or not).

For stamp duty purposes you would not be a FTB (not that it matters any more) but you will still be able to get most FTB mortages and the such.
