Nissan problems

I have recenctly bought a new Nissan Micra.

It was advertised with 4 years free servicing and 4 years free RAC Assistance.

There is no paperwork for the free servicing and the RAC Assistance Booklet says 3 years.

When I contacted the dealer I was informed that the "details are on the system" and not to worry.

Is this normal or should I be getting confirmation in writing?

I do not want the scenario in years time (or subsequent years) when I take the car for annual service to be asked where my proof is of the free servicing.

Thanks
I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!

Call another dealer and ask them when your car will need servicing. Then ask to if it's registered on their system for the free servicing.

They will be able to tell you.

Just ask for a print out for your own records :)

I'd go in and see them and if they repeat that it's on the system and not to worry tell them that's not good enough and that you want it in writing.

Does it not say all of this on the purchase order or other paperwork? Everything you agreed should be on there.

    I like this one ^^

Or go into your dealership with a video camera and ask the question on film :p
