Rightmove - Recently Added Properties

Hi Everyone.

I'm hoping someone can help me with a question regarding selling and how properties appear as "added in Last 24 hours" on Rightmove

I've been trying to sell my house for about 8 months. There was a lot of modernisation required which seemed to be putting off buyers. I decided to do the work myself including new bathroom, kitchen and decorated throughout.

I asked EA to take the listing off Rightmove etc and then once the work was done to put a new listing up to get maximum visability The agent did this but my property is not showing up in the "Added in Last 24hours/14 days etc" searches. EA has said they are investigating with Rightmove but a week on and nothing has changed.

My question is: Should this be something the EA can easily do?

I feel I am being ignored by the EA who rarely responds to emails and doesn't return calls.

Thanks

Hi, not sure if it helps but when the price changes on properties
i have seen on rightmove they go back to the top of the newly listed search, dont know if this is done by rightmove or the ea though.

If your agents isn't responding, then it's time to change agent. They are meant to be on your side!

That's what I thought, using property bee, but the EA says there is nothing they can do

I think so too. I they don't seem to want to be my agent. There is fee to leave but I feel they are the ones terminating by doing nothing.

Hmm, if i was your agent i could have this sorted for you in 30 minutes maximum.

They need to login into the rightmove (agents area), change the price up 5K and immediately set the property as 'invisible' - wait 15 minutes then return to the property and reset the price and then mark as 'visible' then wait 15 minutes (approx) and it will show under new listings in 24 hours.
