Hi,
My family and I have been travelling to France for the last 6 years and we love it!! First of all we booked with Keycamps and now we take our own camping gear. However, when we are looking up campsites we always look in the Keycamp book first and look at what description etc they have. If there is any childrens clubs, they can still join in even if you haven't booked with them. The Vendee is a beautiful part of France to visit, Brem-Sur-Mer, Le Chaponnet are definitely well worth a visit.

Hi, the gites de France organisation are a regulated body which controls holiday rentals in France. I have always found them to be of a good standard and usually very good value: http://www.gites-de-france.com/gites/uk/rural_gites0

Hi
we're flying to Tours in April for 0.01p each way which worked out as £33 for both of us. Tours is a lovely town and its on the edge of the Loire Valley which is stunning and not far from burgundy either. If you want somewhere relaxing but easy to get to then why not combine this with a suggestion from one of the other posts for camping.
We;re also hiring a car for 4 days costing us (from opodo) £70 and since the car rental place is only open when the Ryan air flights come in its pretty easy
hope that helps
