Costs from slough to sutton via tube?

Hi. I need to get from slough to Sutton and back again next week, but i'm trying to figure out what the cheapest way is. I also need to know the best way to get there.

I was thinking getting to paddington than using the tube. help appreciated!

Try using the Transport Direct journey planner for an itinerary.

It won't give you prices, but armed with a route it should be quite simple to price it.

You might be able to do part of the journey through central London on the Tube but it's going to be mainline railway for the endy-bits

Nor in Slough.

OP, use the National Rail Enquiries journey planner to get fares.
As you have not given times of travel, or numbers and ages of travellers, it is difficult to advise further.

£12.10 for an off peak day travelcard doesn't sound too bad - what were you expecting? £20.10 for a peak version.
