missed esa medical!

Apparently i had a medical on Friday 23rd march 2012 but i never knew about it, which was also same day my payment is paid into my account. I only found out last week after i rang the ATOS medical centre to find out when my medical s likely to be as i know there is a 13week assesment phase from the start of my claim from nov 2011. They sent me a letter to fill in for my reasons for not turning up. I simply did not even know about it yet i have been waiting few months for a date. I sent the form back which only allowed me couple days to meet the deadline of 2nd april. Which i did. Does this mean they will stop my benefit until i actually attend a medical? I would due to be paid this friday which is good friday. Will they stop my benefit already? I rang today and they say no form has been received as yet and she didnt know if i be paid this time. She said if i Dont get paid i can apply for crisis loan but Ive hit my limit (over 1500) so i cant get one. Will i stil be paid this time and if not, what is a hardship payment? Can i apply for a ccgrant for living expenses and how long will this take? I have severe mental problems and take a lot of medication so even my gp agrees that i will def pass the medical. What should i do? If i Dont get paid this time, im gon2 starve as im single and have no family to help me. What will happen? Will my money be stopped straight away or am i ok for another couple weeks?

Your benefit would normally be stopped, until you go to another medical.
You need to ring up, and try to request as early an appointment as you can.

I am unsure if ATOS themselves can help with this, or if you need to go through the DWP.

Did you send the form back with tracking?
It is quite usual for them to not 'get' post for 4-5 working days after it actually reaches the postal opening centre.

It is likely, though not certain that you will not be paid this Friday.

I am unsure if you can get a CCG, as you will have stopped getting ESA.

Do you get DLA? Have you considered applying? (though this will not happen fast)

You can claim JSA in the meantime, and not prejudice your ESA claim, as I understand it.

I rang them again today and they now said that i will stil be paid this time also that it will be 1day earlier due to good friday. But they have not yet recieved my reply form. And i also rang up Atos on your advice and they say they put notes onto system about my concerns. Anyway thx for help
