Ebay item not as described - what do you do?

I know I can neg, but I feel I want to say more than the word count allows.
I'm mainly annoyed because of the glowing description that falls way short of the mark, how they always lovingly package things etc etc.
We've already had communication once as the item failed to arrive and she then admitted she'd muddled up and sent them to the wrong place.
Would you email them? She says no returns and I can't be bothered to argue as its not worth the postage to send them back.

Unless it is in a really horrible state, I would get back to her, approach her sensitively rather than negging.
If it is actually dirty or foul (e.g. covered in pet hair, etc.) I would be tempted to neg, but unless this really is the case (and even then I'd warn her about it) the seller deserves a chance to put things right. If she was helpful when she sorted out the previous problem she might be helpful now."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

I bought a media player "New" which turned out to have a dead remote control in it (had to replace the batteries for £4!! from Asda)..it worked OK for a day or so, then the item froze, and needed constant rebooting in order to work, for limited periods.
The seller vehemently denies it's anything other than New, but as I'm so unhappy he's requested I return it. Is this OK, or should I file a dispute anyway?0 -

Yeah, but the return postage will wipe out half the price I paid.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Your psychic powers are amazing if you know she won't accept returns without bothering to contact her.
If your referring to the 'no returns accepted' message from EBAY - the seller did not put it there - Ebay did. Its their default setting - and most ebayers just never change it.
Try the seller and point out you will not be happy unless return postage is covered too. If not - reflect this in their feedback.
If its not as described - you should not be out of pocket.0
