Hi folks,
I'm looking for a great website for renewing my car insurance. Maybe cashback or something similar would be a bonus. I've checked the price for renewing my Y reg with the same company as last year and its £318. Need to have a second driver and fully comp. I'm 30 and OH is 40. We have no claims for the last 2 years.
Thanks everyone for your help!

A lot of people use confused.com to get the best quotes and then quidco for cashback. I have used confused (well not me but my son and the quotes ranged from 700 to almost 3000). I have not used quidco myself.0

If your looking for car insurance, use a combination of go compare.com and confused.com.
Also check out the RBS brands, Direct Line, Churchill, Privilige, Tesco etc.0 -
I would check confused.com - moneyupermarket and then look at reward sites such as quidco and Rpoints.
When you get your prices from these sites take note and then see who is offering the best cashback. Often you can go with the 2nd or 3rd price and still make it better with higher cashbackIf I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -
Another company that I think doesn't get checked by confused.com is Nationwide insurance. For "normal" cars they have consistently given me very low quotes. However, beware of trying to insure anything remotely specialist with them as IME the quote will go through the roof.
Also, if there's an owners club for your car, have a look as some of them have a list of recommended insurance companies. Some of them even have arranged for special discounts with a certain broker.
If you've got anything remotely out of the ordinary (like a classic, sports car, gray import etc), phone specialist brokers as well as they can often better the deals from regular insurance companies.0 -
My renewal is up to, same age car and similiar age, and similar renewal price to yours - and so far found that prudential are offering me the best quote of £270, but also if i go through quidco i get £100 cash back, so thats a premium of only £170!0

Alot of my mates use confused.com to put them in the ballpark of the cheapest ones for them, then they either go directly to that companies site and order online or they ring the company. sometimes by explaining personal circumstances (rather than drop down menu choice) you can save alittle more.0
