no freeview is only on terrestrial.

Yes you can and I beleive you have to phone up Sky and give them the new box ID and some other numbers then it'll work.

i dont have a sky+ box, but from what sky told me. If you dont have 2 premium channels or pay £10 per month then you wont be able to view the recorded content.

The same is true if you subscribe to sky movies, you fill up the hard drive with films, the moment you cancel your subscription.......you will no longer be able to watch them.

If sky+ becomes free subscription great, but you need to check you can watch recorded programmes.

I wonder if you end your contract and unplug your phone line from the back, the sky people cannot cut you off? Before you ask I don't have Sky, I'm just wondering..................

The card is 'zapped' over the air. Not via the phone line.

I cancelled my Sky package a few months ago and can still use all the Sky+ functions as before without paying anything.

i had my sky cut off about 7 months ago because i never payed the bill on time, now i have all the channels and the sky + functions on and i havent had a bill since!!

But Sky doesn't have E4 or More4 or abc either, those only come with freeview but you have to pay for them on sky :rolleyes:
