Hi
It's mine and hubby's wedding anniversary next month and we were looking to goin on a mid week mon - fri break in the uk can anyone recomend anywhere?
We have been looking at York but will go anywhere, we don't drive though so we would have to be able to get there by train or public transport and we would like to stay some where nice why it our anniversary. I have been looking at log cabins with hot tubs but they all seem to be in the middle of nowhere.
Can anyone recomend anywhere?

Have you looked at coach holidays like national coaches, they have some lovely hotels and are normally at least half board ,even sometimes all inclusive and are very very reasonable in price x0

What about Bath ? The train station is pretty central, the city is compact and easily walkable, and you have the ultimate hot tub in the form of the new thermal baths !0

Your just outside Mankchester so York/Lakes/Peaks/Dales are all within your easy reach further out is Humberside, Cumbria, North Wales & South of Brum. Uk isnt ever too bad to get around anywhere but price around and book early to pay lowest prices . Use megabus / trianline/east coast trians ,arriva etc:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

Tenby in south wales is beautiful and if your looking for a good site to stay I would recommend Lydstep Beach. Its a haven site but book privately for a better price. They have a good range of homes for all prices but if your after something special id book a lodge as they are amazing! Midweek you would also get a good price! Try www.lydstepcaravanhire.co.uk their all privately owned!2010 Wins: Benecol Bag For Life, £150 FCUK Voucher, Rimmel Foundation, L'oreal Mascara, £60 worth of hair products, £100 :j0
