Many thanks for any advice

Have you asked you own insurance company for an extension.

It might just be the easiest way.

I've just added a second home to my LV insurance, it's a house that I have inherited and is awaiting probate. The LV people were only too pleased to help with an extra house and the cost was quite modest. Provided there isn't a claim, the insurance can be cancelled and the remaining premium refunded for a small fee.

As the other reply suggested, try a call to your insurance company and explain the situation... They might be only too pleased to help.
