Can you help us to identify this?
Hi,
It's about time we made a start on clearing our garden but we've got lots of this (http://s1255.photobucket.com/albums/hh634/Benchyboo/) that we can't identify. Can anyone help? It's not the garden chair we need help with by the way
We hope to find out what it is so we know how to deal with it, we are total beginners!
Thanks in advance,
Benchyboo

Hard to see the plants properly but I would say that they look like brambles.0

Had a look at it, there have been bramble bushes out there that we cut back and it seems different to them.0 -
The first of those photos is better for ID but...
1. It is definately not brambles.
2. I do not recognise it at all.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

I have looked in my RHS book and can't seem to find it.
I would be inclined to clear the garden of it and start again from scratch.0 -
Thanks for looking Horace, it's appreciated.0

It looks a bit like honeysuckle I think, we've got some that's gone wild like this.
Here's a pic:

Looks the same as my winter flowering honeysuckle. Has it had little creamy white flowers on it? Beautiful shrubby version of honeysuckle that doen't try to take over the entire garden, but stays neatly in one place. Very sweetly scented - good early food for bees.If I'm over the hill, where was the top?0
