HFC - Responded to my SAR and now I need some help with PPI claim

Hi all

Need some advice please.. I recently sent a SAR to HFC (Beneficial) the good news is they replied with all my details for 2 old loan accounts. They also confirmed in their response that each loan had PPI ( I suspected this hence my SAR to them a few weeks ago). I now have the proper loan accounts numbers to go back to them with a claim for refunding the PPI paid on each loan – That’ss the good news...
The bad news is the SAR doesn’t say how much the PPI element was...I do remember that the PPI on each loan was a single premium payment added to loan at the beginning. However, I do not know how much it was charged at. I cant find out from the SAR how much was pure loan and how much was PPI it just has one number as the loan amount in total. The total amount of one loan was about £8,000 over 10 years and I paid it all off in full over the 120 months at £170 per month (about £ 12k in interest in total). The other loan was for about £3,500 which again I paid in full over a 4 year period... Interest rate was 20.798% per annum on each loan

How can I fnd this out what the single PPI element was. In order that I can complete a claim form with the relevant spreadsheet claiming back interest etc etc..
Any ideas anyone....
I recall somewhere in the dim and distance past the sum of about £1700 for one loan and about £400 for the other loan.... for the single premium PPI but cant be 100% sure that these numbers are the correct amount

Many thanks Paul

You do not need to calculate the PPI amounts or interest, front loaded loans are the most upheld of all PPI mis sell, put the complaint in.

As Amersall said, all you need are reasons for complaint that the PPI was mis-sold to you;no complex mathematical spreadsheets etc are required to support your claim.
Go here for the simple procedure:
