Just about to redeem my first swagbucks for a voucher but it is asking me to verify using a pin sent to my mobile phone, is this safe to do as I don't want to get stung for receiving expensive text messages that then take an age to stop

It was quite recently or you can use the search thread tool in one of the drop downs in the bar across the top.

myself and my partner both verified using our mobiles and to date have not had any unwanted calls or messages.
