AlwaysHappy wrote: »newbie to swagbucks so please treat me gently - signed up last night. I dont find the site particularly user friendly and this morning I have managed the grand total of 6 points (and that took some time) - 1 for the daily poll, 3 for watching 10 videos!!!! and 2 for playing a game. OMG - I'm stuck now and really need some help as to how to get some points. Cheers
Welcome to the thread Alwayshappywe will be gentle honest
The SB site is full of things to do so it takes a little time to learn where it all is and how to use it effectively. If you look on the first post of this thread i have now added a beginners guide to the things you can do and how many points you can get, so that should help.
With the videos on SBTV you don't need to watch them until they end, just watch the meter and once it goes up you can click on the next video.
Don't forget to try a few searches as well as this tends to give you a win of anything from about 7 to 40 SB.
If you need a further guide you can click on my name, homepage and that will take you to my blog. Click on swagbucks and you will get some more info with diagrams etc which might help as well.

to all newbies what every site you join it will take a few days to find your way around a site, and that includes swagbucks, dont be disheartened.. it does get easier once you work

I did this as I had 51 points added in the top bar and spring meter with the spring meter then plummeting to just 11 points. I gained another 3 points which showed above, but the spring meter just went to 14. Was missing 40Sent them a message but don't hold out hope of them getting back before end of the day. I then cleared the last 4 hours history, and it's now showing 52 in the spring meter - only 2 short. Not completely happy but will do!
Oh, and I hope you are getting paid well to work Easter Sunday!0 -
After much thought, I have decided to set my target at £100/year (in £5 Amazon vouchers) because there are times of the year I'll be particularly busy (like for the next 6 weeks, studying for 6 rather intense exams). That equates at 1415 SB per month. I know it's not as much as any of you, but I don't want to set it too high and then feel like I've failed; I'd rather set the barrier low, and exceed it
Hope that is ok.

Thats good thinking honey. Your work won't be affected, and you'll be making a free £100 a year!!!!

Haha Cally I was like that when I worked for the Revenue (giving out money, I didn't collect taxes!). If they're right enough to just give you normal time on a Sunday, especially this Sunday, I don't blame you! Hope work goes ok x0
