    To use AdAway the app told me I had to 'root' my phone. Having looked at various website this looks a little dangerous... do it wrong and you can completely break your phone and make it unusable.

    Can anyone suggest another ad blocking app that doesn't require this?

    Rooting is only dangerous if you start deleting system files etc. Note that by downloading Titanium Backup you can delete all the game trials and other apps that you can't delete. For example my phone had all the Orange rubbish on and rooting lets you delete as it's basically just giving you admin rights to your phone.

    I tried AdAway and another ad blocker but both said my mobile was not rooted. I had no idea what this was but on reading more on a website, I realised rooting my phone could cause my phone to stop working and would invalidate my warranty. I just left it at that. I'm still having lots of continue messages - think it's random though, as went 5 mins without interruption before, but not am hitting continue 3 or 4 times within a couple of mins!

    Edit: Ah, just seen Beenie's post. Will think on it too. Thank you :)
