The action is being taken against eBay India, previously Baazee.com, where the eBook versions were originally sold.
It is interesting that the court is looking to force eBay to actively police the site and remove listings where there is breach of copyright, instead of waiting for Vero owners or members' reports.Ebay did not respond when contacted for comment, but in previous cases it has argued that its website is a platform or marketplace and not an auction site.
