Triton/Plumbworld Shower problems please help!

Just over a month a go we brought a Triton shower from Plumbworld, we had it installed by a qualified Plumber. It kept air-locking, so the plumber came out and installed a non-return valve and automatic air vents. Still no water...just the pump whirring. He called in another plumber(60 years in the trade) to double check his work...no faults with the plumbing. We've tried lowering the hot water temperature and all other tricks found on the internet. Still no shower.
We contacted Plumbworld who told us it was not their responsibility and we had to contact Triton. So we did...Worst customer service ever. Apparently their showers never fail and there cannot possibly be a problem, he told us to get another plumber. If we want an engineer out it will cost us £70 and I quote..'because he won't find anything wrong'.
I contacted Plumbworld again, saying we would like a refund or replacement of another (more expensive) make. As we have lost all faith in Triton. They point blank refused until a Triton engineer is called out to inspect it.
What do I do? I'm stuck with a shower that doesn't work, a possible call-out bill and mounting plumbers bills. I just want an exchange!

If the shower is ok once inspected then surely the plumbing will be the cause.
If thats the case i would expect the plumber to pay the £70 and rectify any bad work.
If the shower is found to be faulty you wont get charged the £70.0
