I got a letter in the post from next the other day basically saying sorry they hadn't delivered my otder but there was a problem with my account and I needed to phone them.
Thought this was weird as I had received the last item I ordered just fine.
Tried to log in today but my details weren't working, finanally managed to get in using my account number and found that someone had ordered some sunglasses costing £130 for store collection.
I phoned the number on the letter I received, thinking it was refering to the sunglasses, only to be told £300 of mens clothes had been ordered as well. Im now waiting on a call back from them to deal with the situation but Im wondering where I would stand on the sunglasses.
They were sent to store and collected but not by me, and there is no way I can afford to write off £130.
The password, email address and phone number were all changed on my account but all other personal details like my name and address were left the same and every time Ive had stuff sent to store they had asked for id to prove its my order. So just wondering if that would count in my favour so I don't have to pay for this.
Any helpful advice would be greatfully received

They are supposed to ask for ID when you collect from store, but when I went to collect something last week they just asked me to verbally confirm my address.
Ask them what identification was provided.0 -

Next were under some attack at the end of last year. Crooks were registering accounts in the names of real people, presumably from stolen details. They would order something for delivery to the real address and when that was confirm as received, they would order something for store collection. As the previous order had been confirmed as delivered to the correct address, the store would just hand over the goods. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
thanks for replys
After 4 hours of waiting for a call back I phoned them and they have asked to write a letter of dissociation to confirm I did not order or receive the sunglasses. My account is temporarily blocked whilst they investigate everything, I surpose this experience will end up saving me money as I was going to order some dresses that I didnt really need lol.S.P.C member 1662 - target £3000
