LHA properties to let?

Hi guys,
As a result of the new LHA caps, I will be unable to renew my current contract at my existing property and wondered if there was anyone here that might know of a central London 1-bed letting?
Model tenant, with references guarantors and checks available. Do not smoke, no drink, nor have pets.
Worth a try!

This is one of the hardest and most unsettling questions I've seen here. Why? Sadly, I think you have no hope at all. But would you please keep us updated, as I fear that people like you are being driven out of London as the new LHA ceiling is totally unrealistic. Good luck...0

Yeah.. It seems as though they're creating/adding to ghettos in outer London (I can only really speak for London).

This may sound a bit harsh, but I had to houseshare for a while as I couldn't afford to rent a 1 bed property myself. I don't see how you can complain that you'll have to move further away so the state can continue to pay for your rent.0

Why is Central London important?
It is one of the most expensive places in the world.0 -
I moved out of central London into a single bed in a shared house in Wallington (surrey) because I couldn't afford it.
People like me, averagely earning workers, were driven out long ago.0 -
Central London below the LHA cap? Not a cat's chance in hell! If you're under 40 look for a flat or house-share, if over somewhere more appropriate to your modest budget, like the rest of us.0
