Family and Friends railcard additional ticket ?
Have bought a family and friends railcard for my brother and his son to go away on holiday later this month and added my dad to it as the second named adult.
It was originally just my brother and his son going so booked the train tickets through red spotted hankey and tickets duly arrived .
my dad has just decided that he would like to go as well so i said would look at booking the same ticket using the family and friends rail card , but as it would be just him going on his own ( but on the same trains as my brother) it wont let me use the card as it needs a child added.
does anybody know if could amend the original tickets to add the second adult (as he is named on the f + f railcard). ?
thanks:money:

Hi you can't ammend the booking if it is an advance saver but check what kind of ticket you booked as some you can cancel without any penalty and then just rebook. you could always just book a child ticket with your dads as he will be on the same train as your son and his child but don't know if that will be more expensive check how much a child ticket will cost you.0

Thanks supermum , looks like it will be easier to buy tickets with a "phantom child" unless my dad fancies taking one of the grand kids :eek:The truth shall set you free.....................0

Remember an actual child must travel with the adult who is using the F&F card0

You only need one child for up to four adults to travel with a discounted ticket. Call redspottedhanky as they may be able to issue another ticket under an existing booking reference.0

Only problem could be if the OP had Advance singles as they might be sold out but here's a non premium number for Redspottedhanky, not to sure if it still works: 01902 627981Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0
