I've been vacuuming and mopping all over this morning,so this afternoon is mine ;) all mine.I want to make some Easter cards for nieces, nephews etc.DN8 is coming tomorrow with DB2 so need to at least get hers done.I treated myself to a few crafty bits and pieces last week so can go and play.

Tea is prob mince & chips, one of DH faves, and I can do it quick so more time for crafting.Right, off I go-have a lovely day all, will pop in later xx

    Afternoon all

Happy birthday Butterfly Brain and to FS's DD!!

I've sneakily popped home for lunch ;). Work kids actually did me proud this morning, they are doing some community work and chose to go to an old people's home and spend 2hours there. They talked to the residents, played a few games of bingo, cards and dominos. They were nervous to start but got into the swing of it. They got the afternoon off today so I'm off to the office in a bit.

I had a nice surprise from the taxman this morning, I wash my work uniform at home and I followed Martin's :money: advice and wrote to the taxman. I have had a tax rebate of £35 for tax year 2010/2011 :D, I've worked there 3 years so hopefully will get same for each year, and it's now applied to my tax code so will get it back every year. :j

And an even nicer surprise when I got on the scales this morning, I had lost 3lbs this week, which means since starting WW 3wks ago I have lost half a stone :j. I'm really enjoying it and not finding it restrictive, last week I went out for both Indian and Mexican, had a few drinks and popcorn in cinema!!

OS wise - ummm not much. dishes need washing so will do that tonight.

    Have a good day all

  • Hi Everyone

Sorry I havent been around for a while - just having a bit of a wobbly time - can't quite understand how my life ended up like this - it really isn't how I planned it! Kind of not really sure where to go from here.

Anyway, I love my job and my family are well so I will be grateful for that.

Lou - I hope all goes well today.

OS wise - dinner is sorted and I caught up with the washing, ironing and cleaning at the weekend. Will need to do another wash by tomorrow but just for now I am up to date!

    xxx

Phew i've had a lovely day :D, all sofa and chairs scrubbed and washable bits washed and dried :p. burgers done and in fridge to tonight, 1 PF load of ironing done and dropped back, littlies have been keeping themsleves amused with play-doh and the neighbours children ;). Eggs collected, poo picked up, plants watered (indoor ones), bathroom scrubbed, shower curtain and mat boiled and put back together, asked DD2 20 times to tidy her room up (she's had 4 costume changes so far, but fails to put back clothes etc).

Happy Birthday BB hope you have had a great day so far.
Boys were fantastic this morning little one tidied up and put toys upstairs (they live in a town house so I try not to climb up the lighthouse stairs :))Next one up Henry vacuumed the sitting room and swept the kitchen floor. Jack vacuumed the dining room and big Ben cleaned my car for me .
All four boys worked well this morning so instead of the park I whizzed the three youngest (the eldest had gone off with his pals ) down to Herne Bay in the sunshine (its only half an hour down the motorway) and treated them to a nice big ice cream from Macari's Palour on the front.Had a warm, but windy walk along the beach and blew the cobwebs away.We all came home with slightly windburned faces but enjoyed every minute of it.
Hose has now been put in the shed until we are allowed to use it again and my car will just have to maybe get a bucket of water over it now and again or a good drenching should it rain :):)
Tomorrow I have to take Ben to the dentists then i'm free for the rest of the day as their Dad is working from home tomorrow and on Wednesday their Mum has the day off so I can have a lie in (forecast its going to get colder with snow flurries by Wednesday) what is happening to the weather ??? !!! Typical british school holiday weather blooming cold ,good job we grabbed the chance today for a bit of sea air.
Have a good evening everyone .
    Cheers JackieO xxx
