Oven not working, who to call?

Hi,

We have an electric oven with a gas hob. The main oven has stopped working but (the electric grill inside the oven) still appears to be working.

The oven model is an Integra AKL 848 / ix

Probably a silly question but which trademan do you call when an oven breaks? (electrician / gas engineer?). The oven was here when we bought the house 2 years ago and I guess the previous owners had had it a while. So I am not aware of any warranties / manufacturers to call.

Also does any one have any guesses what could be wrong with it? (please say it is an easy / cheap part to replace;))

Many thanks.

Best

Could be an element or thermostat? Had similar trouble with ours. Rang a local company that deal with household appliances, they charge a call out and price of parts/labour. Came to £80- £100 (last 2 repairs) Cheaper than new oven in our case.
    Back on the trains again!

The first thing i think you should look at is 'the element'.
See this, it's not a difficult job to do yourself.

I think that may be the one for your model, but check.

Well, since it's an electric oven, certainly not a gas engineer.
You need a white goods repair person.
Though an element change is a very simple DIY job, depending on access.
