Slightly different for the next 2 weeks as a lot of people are either on holiday or have children at home.
................................
Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.

Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up

These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.

Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.

A few of the basics before we start the week

Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!

Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.

Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.

Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Swish and swipe/S&S
means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

As it's the Easter hols I thought that any children who are old enough should be doing jobs too. I'm hoping to get a lot done these hols but then again I hope to do that most hols so we'll see how it goes.

That's plan B lol - I know where there is some tape I can use soo I shall sneak in and 'borrow' some. I have also possibly found a replacemnt hose online - just waiting for the company to confirm it will fit!

I'm in this week - can i Have 'shift the skip' vibes AND 'tiler do some tiling' vibes plizz

Towel cupboard sorted. Towels cut down for cleaning cloths - old cleanign cloths (full of holes) to be flung! That's another off the Toots list!

    I'm in again - thanks juliejim :A

Minimal cleaning but major decluttering planned for this week. Today was quite successful - one binbag, one charity bag sorted and loads of paperwork cleared.

Mortgage meeting and cinema tomorrow but will do more decluttering after that as I'm going to London on Tuesday and won't have much time then.

Hi all just checking in after a hard day on the slopes, powder and sun sums it up.

We do have a DW so loaded that, loving having the beds made and bathrooms done each day, such a treat.

Time for a cuppa now whilst resting my very achy legs.

Love to you all especially Toots and LL xx

Morning all - bit chilly today!

Got one load in the WM and another in the TD - it's not going to be warm enough to get anything dry today I think! Might be good and get them ironed tonight too.

List for today looks good and do-able, at least the basic level, thank you! Roads should be quieter today thanks to the holidays, work will be too - but there's always lots of office based stuff to get done then.

Hope everyone has a good day today!
