DFS - Unable to Deliver?

When my sofa's were delivered the crew couldn't get the two seater into the living room so obviously the three seater had no chance.
I called the shop and they suggested sending 'their own team' to try and get the sofas in.
The following day the DFS team turned up, got the two seater in through the doors AND managed to get the three seater in through the living room window.
I live in a first floor flat!I'm not that way reclined

Did they have to remove the window or simply put it through an open window?? As usual i did not bother to measure my doors before ordering, sofa has been delayed another 4 weeks so will find out soon if it fits or not, last option is to remove the window from the frame and get it in that way.0

The sofa came through an open window (just measured it) approx' W:32" H: 42".I'm not that way reclined
