We always used to either make pizzas at school or things like corned beef & potato pie.Most things in life are beyond our control,for everything else there is a spreadsheet

How about ; home made houmus & crudites , vegetable soup/lentil soup ,rice/pasta salads ,fishcakes,falafel , beanburgers , mini quiches .
Could always follow with meringue nests & fruit salad !0 -
