Hi when I apply for a new credit card for a balance transfer will they let me know my card limit before I decide how much to balance transfer? For online applications.
Say if I want to transfer 2k and then they decide my limit is 1.5k will it auto reject me?

No, the size of the BT request will not affect acceptance.Say if I want to transfer 2k and then they decide my limit is 1.5k will it auto reject me?
In your scenario, some providers will not action the BT at all, whereas others will automatically transfer the maximum allowable, ie 95% of £1,500.
The lenders policy may well be publicised on their website, but not always.0
