    Yes we were allowed home last thurs but by the time i got in from work it was teatime and dark.
    The water never came inside :T:T:T but went into my shed where my washing machine , tumble drier f/freezer and freezer are, all we lost was washing machine and tumble drier and all the food as leccy had been off for a week :mad::mad: but as we said we are alive and other people are not and lots had serious damage!

    Thanks so much for that, bubbs, a shame about the food, but what a blessing that was all. It must be so terribly distressing to those who have been flooded out, I can try to imagine it, but it's nigh on impossible. If we flood here then the entire village and local towns have HUGE problems! We're part way up a hill!
