Quiet bathroom pull switch

Our bathroom pull switch is so LOUD. Has anyone ever bought a quiet one? I can't use the electronic ones as we have energy efficient lamps and most electronic switches are not suitable.

How about a PIR?0

Yeah, a PIR is 1 solution. How come the major manufacturers don't make a quiet switch?0

You mightn't like this idea but I use those little LED portable push lights all over. One by the bed can be picked up and taken to the bathroom with you, lighting your way too. One left in the bathroom is enough for those 'little visits' and can be carried in a dressing gown pocket more easily than a torch. I know that it's not Designer style but it works! The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.
