My parents sent a letter to my ip at least 3 weeks ago to offer a settlement and we have not heard anything back. To be honest I've been too nervous to call them incase it's bad news!! What shall I do?

It's not that uncommon for this sort of dealy (albeit bad customer service). I would chase them up -- whatever the news -- you need to know!
  • I agree a phone call would do no harm

I would have thought they would at least acknowledged your offer but maybe they have a backlog

Thanks. I phoned them yesterday and spoke to them and they said that they were just getting everything ready for the variation meeting and my supervisor would be checking over everything soon to pass the proposal to my creditors. So fingers crossed I'll hear back very soon on what's going on....
