tesco have their easter eggs on bogof this weekend only £1.48 for 2 eggs:j these are the medium eggs with the 2 bars of chocolate in them only just saw them as i was changing my order for delivery on tuesday so have now change to delivery this weekend. these eggs were 3 for £3. so at 74p an egg i'm well pleased. i know there is a thread for easter bargains and i have posted this there but as it's only on this weekend i thought i'd post it here aswell.

I don't know if this is online only as this offer wasn't available in the store I have just got back from. They were still on 3 for £3. Great spot though might have to place an order for Sunday!

Just came on here to post about my find and its already here. They were on this offer in my store. Im pleased i didnt go the ohter day and pay 3 for £3.

Never seen them at this price before, mega buy. Its cheaper to buy a Mars egg with 2 mars bars than it is to buy a couple of mars bars :D

Sainsbury's are now doing the medium sized Cadbury's eggs for 3 for £3.75, managers special.
  • Just been into my local Tesco & they have 'Teen' Easter Eggs (Egg + 2 Bars of Choccy) on offer @ 2 For £1.48 (74p Each) which where 3 For £3.00 yesterday.

They had all the usual medium sized Cadbury's & Nestle egg's on offer.

Still not better than our shop staff offer for the recalled egg's (No May Contain Nuts Clause) of 45p each though

Hey TF, have any of those found their way into the factory shop?
  • Yep , the 'Recalled Eggs' where 99p each, which makes Tesco's offer look great even though the only problem was incorrect labeling, must have cost Cadbury millions

Shop where i work all the recalled easter eggs were put in bin bags stood on and put out for the bin, very annoying i would have bought some even if they gave my money donation to charity, such a waste.

    Why???

Nothing wrong with the eggs, just the labeling didn't meet the standards & Cadbury would rather recall them than have someone with a serious allergy eat one.

I would have made the boss an offer of 10p an egg, rather than destroy & bin them all.

Hi i agree it was a total waste.they counted up the stock and would claim full refund from manufacture.I said i dont have a nut allergy but just got a smile and then they were told to destroy them. They would rather destroy than give to staff even at a reduced price.
