BOS PPI and Charges

in Credit cards
Hi there,
I've recently had an offer made from Bank of Scotland in relation to 2 PPI policies on 2 credit cards I've had since 2001 and 2003 respectively.
I have a few questions regarding this first:
Their offer is worded as follows:
"We would like to offer you a refund of all the PPI premiums paid (inclusive of interest). We will also apply simple interest at 8% for any period where account was in credit, or from the date of the card being closed to the date of payment. Should you accept our offer, our payment will also take into account any other factors that are relevant to your circumstances."
It goes on to give a breakdown of numbers, starting with Premiums refund, 8% interest, APR interest and Total Refund.
Firstly... is there anything missing here I should get included? Any other payment that I will be due that they have omitted?
Secondly... bank and credit card charges. BOS previously denied me a refund of charges years ago. These charges were incurred during a time when I had a balance on this card. This basically means they were taking incorrect payments off of me at a time when I was going overdrawn and being charged for it. I would like to go down the route of getting the bank to refund the charges on these grounds. Any advice or comments on this course of action?

1. Take the PPI refund - there is nothing else to claim.
2. If they denied you a refund 'years' ago it must have been done for a reason - why do you think they should refund them now.
IMO You have nowhere to go with this one.0 -

Thanks.
Yeah... the reason being they don't want to part with money. Since they've now admitted they should not have taken money for PPI, things have changed. If I was not charged for PPI ontop of everything else then, the charges may not have happened.
If you were that close to the limit the PPI was pushing you over, chances are you could've gone over anyway.0 -
Thanks.

They have taken a business decision to refund rather than fight on - not quite the same as admitting they took it wrongly in the first place. You had the opportunity to stop the PPI on or after receiving each and every one of your monthly statements but it wasn't fashionable to claim back anything then.0
