I usually have a £20 in there as the nearest cash point is 2 miles away at the tesco local and there are always unsavory looking people hanging around. I might need to go to the pub for a pint at anytime so need some cash on me:beer:Nothing to see here, move along.0

I try to only carry 2 x £1 coins. One for emergencies, and the other for the gym locker.
I always have my card with me if it's really important, but by having less in my wallet I remove the temptation!OH OD - £100.00/£100.00 Joint OD - £100.00/£100.00StepChange: £10,057.670 -

I give myself a small allowance in cash every week and this is 'stored' in my wallet - and as I'm a MUCH better saver than spender, I'd make a mugger very happy if they were take a chance on me !
But all 'big shopping'/food shopping is done with cash - which saves us hundreds (if not thousands) of £'s a year.0 -
are you like me and have a secret stash in your purse/wallet for the money you dont spend each week?
I try to tell myself i can then spend it on treats for myself, but im that tight i just like it to be there!!!!
I also get cash out for shopping but have a separate purse/wallet for that money.0
