Being 'forced' to take out co travel insurance?
Comments
-
There are a few companies that make you take travel insurance out before you book
It actually makes a lot of sense to have insurance in place at the time of booking a holiday.
Once you have booked then cancellation caused by death is a possibility.
If you book a holiday and leave it a week to get insurance (or even 5 minutes) then something could potentially happen.
Some companies are being underhand but what many companies are suggesting is either sensible or simply to protect themselves.0 -
Thanks all,
I wouldn't ever travel without insurance - but really do object to these companies (Keycamp/Eurocamp) forcing the most expensive option onto you (in the hope that you can't be bothered looking elsewhere I guess!)
Thanks for the direct travel tip - just got a quote of 24 pounds, a bit different from 80!0
