SCART is only black and white

Have three scarts on the TV, the middle of which, when played through, is only black and white.
so it isn't any of the plug ins. Could it be some setting, that I can't find, or could it just be bust

Sounds like an svideo/composite issue. Check the input on the tv is the set the same as the output of the source."...IT'S FRUITY!"0
