Amazon credit card

Anyone else like me confused by their offer? seems that it is only usable thro Amazon to purchase items/through on their site. Have asked them to clarify this, but no reply so far.Card is loaded onto your Amazon A/C as the default creditcard, so all transactions go thro it,so when you go past the 30 days "open A/C " offer to qualify for the minimum £300 spend, 13 months free interest, you will be charged the full 16% plus, on any items you order from them. This only becomes apparant when the final ? e/mail from them ,tells you the card is on its way(takes about a month to get to this stage )

I'm confused - it's a regular MasterCard that can be used anywhere?

As others have said, it's a standard credit card that you can use anywhere (that accepts credit cards!)

The reply you got above from Amazon is probably standard - they won't answer questions about the credit card. The card is issued and managed by Bank of America. The Amazon name and points is really just a marketing gimmick, that benefits both Bank of America and Amazon.

(Similarly, Bank of America won't discuss delivery times for books etc!)
