Morning guys  thanks for starting us off wannabe & a very happy birthday - here's a cake I made for u :bdaycake: and have a beer as well

Not sure what I'm doing today but will involve:
    • [STRIKE]checking bank balances[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]all meals from stores[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]get out steaks for dinner tonight & pork for tomorrow[/STRIKE]
    • make some yogurt
    • [STRIKE]go for a walk with lovely oh[/STRIKE]
    • visit dd and maybe go for a coffee with her
Kinda not DFW but in a DFW style am booking a hotel for me and 2 of my most loveliest friends in Brighton next Thursday evening. One of my oldest friends - in length not age! - has been having a really rough time so we're gonna get away for a couple of days for fun and frivolities to cheer her up :T have found a room that is £24 each :D I looooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeee Brighton :j

mmmmm Sunday :j had a lovely day yesterday with oh :D

    Today's plans:

    • didn't see dd yesterday as she was staying at friends. So she is coming round for roast today, going to make a cake together, give each other a mani & pedi and watch a film
    • going out for a walk & a pint with a oh,a friend & his wife & son
    • check tyre pressure in tyres, oil & water, finish rust work...
    • [STRIKE]going to go to the boot fair shortly & see if there are any bargains - looking for some tea cups & saucers to make my friend some teacup candles[/STRIKE]
    • all meals from stores
    • [STRIKE]do some serious housework![/STRIKE] Maybe clean the bay windows...
    • search for some free/frugal things to do over the next couple of weeks
that's enough chores for 1 day! Hope everyone enjoys the day, lovely & sunny down here :D

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for the birthday wishes on Thursday, sorry for not being around much but yesterday was lost to a hangover, & Friday was just so busy I ran out of time! But I did read all the messages so thank you, I had a fab day - the sun was shining & I got to touch a lion :D Seriously awesome day that made me forget all the recent wedding stress which was just what I needed.

A belated happy birthday to Wannabee, thanks for starting the thread.
DNMS - Your Brighton trip sounds fab! I can't wait to go for my hen do but wish we had planned it a little earlier as there weren't any cheap rooms available unless we wanted to go to a dive, I don't know how people coped without tripadvisor!
KJP - Good luck with your exam on Tuesday.
Natlie - Congratulations! I think you are utterly mad though as my wedding is 30th June & I've been planning this for ageeees now, although my guest list is a lot bigger! I actually kinda envy your 10 person guest list, that'll keep costs down nicely :) Good luck with all your planning.

    Today I have/will:-

    • [STRIKE]Food from stores[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Log calories using free app[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Charge phone via pc[/STRIKE]
    • Check for surveys
    • [STRIKE]Enter comps[/STRIKE]
    • Check online banking
    • [STRIKE]Heating is off[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Work on wedding related tasks[/STRIKE]
    • Take a look at diary to ensure I am up to date & prepared for everything coming
    • Dinner from meal plan - Risotto
    • Find CC bill that has mysteriously disappeared as it needs to be paid soon!
    • Use Groupon before it runs out...idiot!
    • [STRIKE]Washing on eco setting[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Hang up to dry[/STRIKE]
    • Batch cook some soup if there's time
Have a great, MSE day everyone x

My sister got married February 2011 there were 180 people there it was lovely but her MIL paid for the do and had invited random friends/family so there were only 12 of our family and nearly everyone else was??? the meal was poor as it was mass produced overcooked veg etc and the dessert was awful! we are going to my friends french restaurant - the foods amazing and as its a normal evening friends/family can come if they want.

I will be a lot calmer when I get my dress although I do have access to my sisters dress from last year or a dress I bought a few yrs ago that my mum would have to alter.

Good luck with your wedding :) too

    Congrats Natlie, how exciting :T

A quietish day here today, not really done much. Hope everyone has had a great day and achieved all that they wanted. The sun has been shining here and although a little cooler its been lovely, am hoping weathermen have got it wrong and its not going to be as bad as they anticipate.

    Back tomorrow, night all xx
