washer dryer causing problems

Evening all

I bought a new washer dryer some months back but is now starting g to cause problems. It is currently stored in the pantry. What I have noticed is that when I am using the dryer it gets so hot that the surrounding wood gets all damp which has created patches on the woodwork. It does not see to go away and I am worried about rotting and damp

I keep the pantry door open and air the area out as much as I can. I would post a apic here but can't work out how to!!

Could anyone help with suggestions on stopping this damp etc?

Does it need venting or is it a condensing washer/dryer ?

you could try a dehumidifier, it will take the excess moisture from the air, you could also plan to hang your washing up, say last thing at night and put your de humidifier on a washing setting, this is cheaper option than using tumble dryer also

you need a vent in the pantry door, or better still, an air brick in the outside wall.
    Get some gorm.

So what sort of dryer is it then ???
We can't sort the problem without knowing !!!
Condenser will have no vent so you will have to keep emptying the water from it.
if it is not a condenser dryer it should have a 4 inch hose fitted to the back of it.
This hose should go out through the wall or out of an open window.
If it is not fitted or come off that is what is causing all your problems.
Maybe you should get the instruction book out !!!
