I'm looking for an alternative family holiday in the uk I need to find a site that I can find tent/pods etc to rent that are lready there for when we arrive, as a static caravan in the summer holidays cost the earth.
Any one know of a website that can either search them all? Or an individual site that is fairly cheap and near the seaside???

I have found if you shop around you can find statics/chalets for a good price during the summer hols. Pods/teepee/yuts etc are very en vogue atm and some places are asking mega bucks to stay. How much are you hoping to spend and where are you thinking of going ,? how many people & dogs ?
edit-- I cannot see a keycamp in the uk am i missing a button ? off to look at Canvas hols
double edit .... nor canvas hols but we have stayed in these in France and had a great time OP would you consider europe Holland always has good deals for keycamp . eurocamp & canvas hols:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0 -

It could be anywhere but I'm having to search individual campsites via uk campsite, the cheapest I've seen was around £45 a night in Dorset or devon I can't remember? Skegness was around £30 a night even in high season. Just wanted to find a site that compares them all so I can ut a date in and find something cheap but seems like I already have.
We are in nottm so places like Skegness we would want to stop 3-4 nights and that is it further away about a week ish.
We are two adults one child age 5 and a baby due anytime now.

Do you know whereabouts you want to go? If so, try searching the tourist boards for these areas. We found a great campsite in Jersey this way.0
