Why go to the tribunial? Because you will find out things which will be useful to you. Often the system is a mistery until you actually experience it.

One other thing is that judges and chairmen of tribunials etc regard people who do not turn up for things with a great deal of disdain. They almost take it personally as they bothered get dressed and turn up for the tribunial. Remember you are not a crook, so why give people a reason to treat you like one.

You might get some help if you post this on the employment section. There are some people there who have experience in tribunials. Some professionals as well who are in and out of tribunials all the time.

If the company hasn't had any business activities over the last 3 months, you can apply to Companies House to strike off the company as the Member (shareholder) of the company. It costs only 10 pounds.

It's not as simple as just stopping trading for 3 months, paying a tenner and walking away from all liabilities I'm afraid.

The directors have to notify affected parties such as creditors , employees, etc who will object if they want any chance of seeing again even a small proportion of what is owed to them.
