Realised Wrong washing machine delivered after 2 years!

This is an interesting issue. If the OP bought and paid for a washer/dryer but only received a washer, surely that is breach of contract and the six year rule is still valid?
One could say that they tried to use the dryer and it wouldn't work, would not the terms of the warranty mean they should "repair" it?The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

But as Curry's are agreed to have delivered something, the issue revolves around acceptance. Curry's have been accepted as having performed their side of the contract for 2 years gone. And their failing is one which should have been noticed immediately. SO I would say out of time regardless.
I wouldn't be so sure, I think that is a very grey area. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
