put an offer on for the loft conversion .. Accepted

Got the offer accepted on a loft conversion flat at poundbury , for 162500, got accepted. My question ... (originally on market for 167) , Am I doing right thing . Would you pay this much for a property in a good location . Last few sales have been above 180k + but they were not loft conversions. Also the building is only 3-4 years old, so its a purpose built loft conversion.
My only thought is that I have bid too high (although this was the psychological max i would put on the propert)y , but somebody else had put
an offer before me , so I had to go blind with the maximum I would for this property. Now I am wondering whether I did the right thing.

My concern is that the property will be difficult to shift. (slopy walls in some rooms) but good surface area for the price and excellent location. . And then I couldnt go wrong if the property has been on the market for under 1 week and has had 2 acceptable offers.
Inside I am THINKING.

    Hi,

What matters most is whether you like it. You were obviously taken by it (it does look like a nice place) and it's going to be your home for the next few years at least.

Don't lose sleep over whether it will be hard to shift - remember that you liked it, so the chances are somebody else will too when you come to sell it!

    Good luck!

Myself I wouldn't want to live in a loft conversion with slopping ceilings as I would feel a bit confined & claustrophobic. I viewed one in a large converted house near me recently.

However, the flat has appealed to you & the other person who offered, so obviously the location & size of the flat are in it's favour. Ok, so if & when you come to sell it may not appeal to everybody, but really that's true of any property.

Congratulations on getting your offer accepted & I think you got it a good price.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
