I'm thinking of a 2-day legoland trip in June and wondering what stops you using the refill flask on a second day? Do they check the date you bought it?
With two children, the other option is buying one a day and then I save money but they both get a cup to take home. I'd prefer two from the start though if I can get away with it!0 -
2 days is plenty of time to do Legoland twice we went round it all in one day during summer holidays so I would just enjoy it at your leisure so you don't get bored the second day going over the same rides etc.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

Well just over a week to go until our half term trip to Legoland Windsor, having looked at the FAQ's on the main website, I have a couple of quick questions for people who have been before...
1. Dress Code - the website states that people should be appropriately dressed, and mentions proper length shirts, skirts and trousers. Can anyone confirm that men (and boys) are allowed to wear shorts (weather permitting)? I'm not talking 'speedos', but if its a warm day, would rather not be wearing jeans/long trousers.
2. Lockers - it states that lockers cost £1 per use, non-refundable. Does the £1 give access all/use day, or does it mean it'll cost us £1 each time we wish to lock the locker, such as if we go back and open it to get something out?
Neither of these are big issues, woudl just rather be forewarned and know what to expect.
Cheers!0 -

We did Legoland for 2 days over the August bank holiday, we had a que bot for the first day and did the "big" rides the kids wanted to go on as many times as they wanted, then on the second day was sent going on the little rides and playing :-) worked really well. Agree with the water proofs they where a life saver when we went. We didnt take sandwiches but didnt send a fortune on food either and if you eat in the parks after 5 kids eat free, atleast they did when we went. Hope you have a wonderful time0

Well back home and back to reality after our half term week, and Legoland was fab... our son loved it!
First day we had showers off and on, but it got out bright in the afternoon, but second day was wet all day.
We ended up getting a Q-bot for the first day, and over the two days we were there, we managed to get on all the rides we wanted to.
We took our own £1 shop ponchos, but only used them for the 'Pirates Falls Drench' ride.
We ate in the park, which turned out to be not as expensive as thought, and bought one of the refillable flasks for soft drinks, which at £6 turned out to be decent enough for us to share.
Overall, a great time was had, and being up north, its not somewhere we can go regularly, without a big trip.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of going.0 -

We bought a flask on day one, and were told that you could get it refilled anywhere with a sign for it, but you needed to produce your receipt when getting it refilled, as the price was for one day only.
However, there was a BBQ restaurant (next to Pirate Falls) that also offered these refills. However, the machines were self service, so there was little/nothing to stop you popping in there and refilling your day one flask on day two, as they weren't checked.0
