Hi all,

My newish hp laptop has been running incredibly slowly for a little while, and is getting worse - I swapped my avast (which wasnt finding any viruses) for microsoft security essentials in case avast was missing something.

I have run a full mse scan, malware bytes and ccleaner - nothing is coming up..

So I thought I would ask if anyone could take a look at my hijack this log, and see if they can spot anything that may be causing the problem, and advice me on how to proceed.

The HP pre-installed software don't help. Run CCleaner and run the tools > uninstall function to get rid of items you never use.

In contrast, I would suggest leaving them in place but don't have them running at startup.
