RBS Complaint, Help Please.

Had a complaint with RBS, basically I was in a repayment programme and kept my side of the bargain, was paying the arrears and making the reg payments still (£30 a month to clear arrears and £223 usual loan repayment)

Sadly RBS set up a £233 Standing Order and £233 D/D.

As you can guess both went out leaving me with no money, although they corrected the error the day after (couldn't do it the same day they said) this left me with no money in my account and thus couldn't get to work that day.

Had to take this as UNPAID leave.

I made a complaint (early FEB!!) had update letters saying looking into it etc etc.

This morning had a 'compensation IBP' paid into my account for £30, without asking me to accept this offer.

Clearly I'm out of pocket as missed a full day at work and would of got paid more than that!

I want more, what should I do?

Contact the customer relations unit on 0800 015 5035.

I would also contact your employer and ask them for proof you had to take a day off work etc to send in with your concern.

You will get a letter explaining what the compensation is for and a telephone number to ring if you are not happy with the resolution. Ring it!

Had letter when I got home saying hope to resolve it by april 24th! Is this thirty quid just to keep me sweet for now? Also sent me today a financial ombusman book.

Mostly likely was it not covered in the letter Ring the number on the letter and ask the question?

Ill ring them tomorrow but the thirty quid not mentioned in the letter.
